Off the standard Alaska tourist circuit, family-owned and operated Summit Lake Lodge is a historic log lodge located in an exceptionally scenic setting in the heart of the Chugach National Forest. Remote yet accessible, the lodge is 80 miles southeast of Anchorage and a world away from civilization. This authentic accommodation brimming with "Alaskana" overlooks tranquil Summit Lake near the Kenai River, famed for some of the world's best salmon fishing. Sixteen deluxe log cabins offer every comfort with the classic ambience of traditional Alaska. We enjoy rustic luxury in 640-square-foot lakefront cabins outfitted with a fireplace, leather reclining lounge chairs, king-size log bed with high-quality linens, HD flat screen TV, bathroom with custom log vanity and large walk-in shower, microwave, mini fridge and in-room tea service. Each cabin has a private deck overlooking the lake. Accommodations include a full cooked-to-order breakfast in the lodge dining room.
