The 111–passenger Sea Explorer is a small ice-strengthened, all-suite luxury expedition ship. Guests are accommodated in 53 outside cabins, and several suites have private balconies that are accessed via sliding glass doors. All cabins have exterior views, en suite facilities, flat screen TV and DVD player. Public spaces include a wrap-around sun deck, spacious lounge/presentation room, dining room with open seating for meals, an all-inclusive bar, Polar Library, gym and boutique. An on-board clinic offers the services of a licensed doctor. Wireless Internet and email are available (for a fee) via the ship-to-shore satellite communications system. Zodiac cruising, hiking and snowshoeing is included; adventure kayaking for experienced paddlers is offered at an additional fee.
