McKinley Creekside Cabins
Located in a quiet setting on Carlo Creek just 15 minutes from the entrance to Denali National Park, McKinley Creekside Cabins and Cafe is a small, locally owned and operated lodge in the heart of the Alaska Range. Nat Hab groups staying here during their Denali visit will enjoy the warm hospitality and personal touch that the owners and staff take pride in. A variety of accommodation types including individual cabins, duplex cabins and lodge rooms are assigned on arrival based on availability, and no specific room type can be guaranteed. While somewhat rustic, the accommodations are "authentic Alaska," cozy and comfortable, and surrounded by the peace and beauty of wild nature. Cabins and rooms have either one or two queen beds, private bath with hair dryer and toiletries, mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, heat and ceiling fan, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Cabins have no phones or TVs, in order to enhance guests' connection with nature, although some lodge rooms have televisions. The casual cafe features homemade fare from the famous bakery on site, including fresh-baked bread, coffee cake an Mt. Denali cinnamon rolls.
