Perched on a forested bluff overlooking the Naknek River, this remote and rustic retreat borders Katmai National Park. Surrounded by towering spruce and birch trees, the lodge backs up to the gentle slopes of the Aleutian Range. With direct access to a world-famous stretch of the Naknek renowned for its abundant rainbow trout and annual salmon runs, the lodge has long attracted anglers and wildlife enthusiasts. Just a short floatplane flight from the bear viewing hotspots of Katmai, the lodge’s riverside grounds are a haven for wildlife, including moose, river otters, foxes, bald eagles, Arctic hares and a multitude of migratory birds.

The welcoming main lodge building serves as a central gathering spot with an inviting lounge area anchored by a river rock fireplace and cocktail bar. The riverside dining room features large picture windows with scenic views and offers gourmet meals of freshly caught fish and locally grown produce. An outdoor deck overlooks the river, and Adirondack chairs throughout the property offer additional outdoor lounging spaces.

Accommodations consist of individual private log cabins and guest rooms within the main lodge. Both options feature an en suite bathroom, two full-sized beds or one king, 40-inch TV, WiFi, Keurig coffee makers and small refrigerators stocked with cold beverages.
