Located less than two miles from El Chalten, Chalten Camp offers a luxurious glamping experience with unimpeded views of Cerro Fitz Roy. The camp’s high-end domes are tucked within the native forest, each sitting on wooden stilts to minimize environmental impact. These spacious domes feature queen beds with quality linens and generous blankets, rustic wooden furniture, writing table, sconce lighting, an electronic safe and 220-volt electricity. A wood-burning stove, managed by staff, ensures warmth on cooler evenings. En suite bathrooms are equipped with hot-water showers, toilets, plush towels and complimentary toiletries.
The camp’s main dome serves as the communal heart, housing a panoramic living room and dining area where guests enjoy traditional Argentine dishes. A bar offers a selection of alcoholic beverages. Outside, guests can relax by the fire pit, in chairs or in hammocks. While Wi-Fi is available in the main dome, it is intentionally absent from sleeping domes to promote a more immersive natural experience.
