“Probably the most unique part of this wonderful trip was Ecocamp - it was terrific! We loved the long day’s crossing in Torres del Paine, the overall scenery, and ice trekking was fantastic!”

"I really thought the trip was amazing. My husband and I have traveled quite a bit over the last 15 years, having taken several hiking/biking trips with other companies, as well as a Nat Hab trip to Churchill, so we feel well versed traveling in a small group with a guide. In our experience, Zapa is by far the most outstanding guide we've ever had. He was generous with his knowledge of photography, an excellent guide to the areas we traveled in, humorous, kind, open to new information, and above all, very watchful of and helpful to everyone in the group."
T. Nolle
“You outdid yourselves with the Patagonia trip. The place is absolutely gorgeous, the people are wonderful, the guides were the best, the food was fabulous…gosh, I don’t know what to say! This was perhaps the most enlightening trip I have ever been on with Nat Hab. I learned a ton about geology, botany, biology, history, and more. It’s nothing like I expected; Patagonia is a mixture of Alaskan scenery and European charm. This trip is a drop-dead winner, one of the very best (if not the best) Nat Hab does. I expect we’ll repeat this one.”
W. Kitchell
"I would absolutely do another trip with Natural Habitat. Every day was full of well planned activities and surprises. Thought there'd be a bit more hiking, but that was okay because we loved seeing and learning about all the plants, fauna and geology, so it was a nice balance overall. I can't say enough about Zapa - he was superb; always exceptionally thoughtful, very knowledgable about flora/fauna/geology/photography, funny, and very charismatic. He made the trip one of the most fantastic trips we've been on. We absolutely loved it, and a lot of that was due to Zapa's efforts!"

We took the boat trip out to Viedma Glacier and put crampons over our hiking boots. For many of us this was the first time that we had ever walked on a glacier. This was truly spectacular. The walk around the glacier was an awesome & exhilarating experience. We even had a small party on the ice before heading back to the boat. This was truly a memorable day and was definitely a high point on the trip.”

“The guides were exceptional young people who literally made the trip worthwhile.”
C. Herbertson
“The guides could not have been better. They shared their extensive knowledge of geology and biology (particularly of birds, animals, and plants of the area). They showed their love of Patagonia. They were so kind and spent time with all of us.”
B. Herbertson
“The guides obviously loved Patagonia. Their enthusiasm was contagious and played an important part in why we had such a great trip.”
R. Kinstler
“This is a great trip! Hotels were great, meals were great. I highly recommend it!”
D. Miao
“The guides go beyond their duties in making our experience in Patagonia a great one. They are great to be with, have a wonderful sense of humor, and are eager to share their country with us.”

Studies suggest that two-thirds of the world’s polar bear population could be gone by 2050. And if current warming trends continue unabated, WWF scientists and other researchers believe that polar bears may disappear altogether within 100 years. WWF is intent on preventing this from happening.
