A Small-Group Expedition into the Heart of One of South America’s Last Wild Frontiers
B. Neist
“OMGoodness......GREAT, GREAT TRIP.....great people, great place, great food...everything about this trip was great!!!!!!! .......I had no idea the falls was sooooooooooo beautiful (some of us took an added helicopter ride...yea).......the Pantanal was AMAZING...full of animal. I knew we would see animals.....but so many endangered species.....incredible. You need to promote this trip, as it far exceeded our expectations! I had no idea the Falls were so beautiful, and the Pantanal was so AMAZING and full of wildlife. I knew we would see animals, but there were so many endangered species – the whole experience was incredible!”

"An unforgettable dramatic adventure – a vintage Indian Jones expedition! Thank you so much for your excellent company. I love Natural Habitat and your small groups, your guides and your total emphasis."
K. Klump
“I cannot praise Zapa highly enough…he proved to be an excellent naturalist with an uncanny ability to spot birds and mammals and an apparently encyclopedic knowledge of both. He was energetic and enthusiastic and he made the trip all that we hoped it would be.”
M. Adler
“Unbelievable food preparation and presentation, especially at the Caiman Ecological Refuge lodge. All accommodations were terrific… wonderful accommodations, especially at the Tropical Cataratas in Foz de Iguazu. And of course Zapa is absolutely a gem. Indispensable. His knowledge and professionalism were top notch. He was always affable, courteous, helpful, and ALWAYS put our needs and attention before his. I feel that he made the trip much, much more memorable and enjoyable. His ability to function as a guide went beyond any of my expectations. Do not lose him!!! This was one of the best overall and most memorable trips in my life!”
N. Mason
“We returned on time from another fantastic trip. The Pantanal was the highlight of the trip. We were lucky that there was so much water still around because it enhanced the beauty of the area. We saw a wide range of birds and mammals, including excellent views of ocelot, although we never caught up with a jaguar. Iguacu was brilliant, with 3.1 million litres of water per second flowing over the falls when we were there. Truly awesome! The accommodation in both the Pantanal and at Iguacu were wonderful. The other point I would like to make at this stage is that Zapa is an outstanding guide and expedition leader. He ranks up there as one of the best guides we have had (and they have all been very good). His knowledge, skill, experience, sense of humor, enthusiasm, customer care and thoughtfulness were unsurpassed. He is truly inspirational!"
M. Schriner
“I enjoyed most the beauty of the falls, the remoteness of the Pantanal Lodge, and the wildlife. Also the golden lion tamarin expedition. Our guide Zapa's knowledge was exceptional and his enthusiasm was contagious."
R. Elsie
"Zapa was an amazing guide - he was on top of every last detail of the trip. He is great with logistics and does not get the least bit upset when things go wrong (i.e. - broken bus and no A/C) therefore we don't get upset. He is very knowledgable of the area and I don't think there was anything else he could have done to make the trip better!!!!!!!!!!! He knows everyone in the Pantanal and makes things happen. He also knows his birds and animals as well as the environment of the Pantanal. I cannot say enough positive things about him."
U. Jacob
"The high quality of the guides is one of the main reasons I choose NatHab tours and Zapa is another good example for this. Great photography tips from him too!"

Studies suggest that two-thirds of the world’s polar bear population could be gone by 2050. And if current warming trends continue unabated, WWF scientists and other researchers believe that polar bears may disappear altogether within 100 years. WWF is intent on preventing this from happening.
