"The highlights of the trip were many -- glacier walking, hiking, abundant wildlife. This is a good time of year for this trip, because many of the plants were blooming. Physical activity level was about right. I appreciated the ability to stop and take time to collect photographs, and really liked learning abut the local culture/customs. Zapa did a fantastic job."

"I can't say enough about our guide Zapa. We were always his number one priority no matter what the situation. Perfect english and outstanding knowledge regarding the area and photography. Always willing to help, very patient and courteous. His enthusiasm for everything Patagonia kept us interested and excited no matter what the circumstances, even rain. Got to know each one of us individually and made sure we each had a wonderful adventure. I always love the small group size; the itinerary was the perfect mix of activities: walking, hiking, bus riding, plenty of time for photography, etc. Liked the large bus we always rode in; we all had window seats. And Zapa was definitely a 'big plus'! I really can't think of anything I didn't like."

"Zapa did a superb job in organizing the trip, providing expert knowledge of the wildlife and the surroundings, and helping people with photo tips. I appreciated having the option of going partway on the Laguna Torre hike with everyone, and then returning with others not wanting to continue on the full 14-mile hike. Rafael was the local guide in Chile, and he actually played a large role in the EcoCamp and other places which were very helpful to everyone regarding trip logistics and nature knowledge including avoiding some snafus for some of the travelers at the airport. Between Zapa and Rafael they managed to turn a planned sunset viewing opportunity that didn't work out into an unexpected puma family sighting!"

"This a trip that you need to keep offering. We saw so many typed of wildflowers it was unbelievable. Zapa said he had never seen wildflowers before. We also saw baby guanacos with their moms and three really beautiful puma. And the scenery was just breathtaking. We really lucked out with the weather. We got to see all the mountains very clearly. And the rain was minimal. We enjoyed the glacier trekking the best, that is a once and a life time opportunity. Overall the trip was 10 out of 10!!!!"

Studies suggest that two-thirds of the world’s polar bear population could be gone by 2050. And if current warming trends continue unabated, WWF scientists and other researchers believe that polar bears may disappear altogether within 100 years. WWF is intent on preventing this from happening.
