Family Botswana Safari

An Exhilarating Family Adventure in One of Our Planet’s Last Truly Wild Places
S. Lifetheson
“We’ve had many memorable family vacations in the past, but nothing compares to Botswana. My grandkids will never forget it.”

F. Knowles
"I am so glad I chose this safari—we had been told that your trips were done really well, but we could not believe how good our guide was and how you arranged all the special elements in the most remote—and most amazing!—spot on the planet!"

J. Allen

"I can't begin to answer this question - there were so many highlights - I really loved it all: the animals (lions with cubs, lions at a giraffe kill, wild dogs, bat-eared foxes, hippos, elephants kudu and all the rest!), the village visit, the volleyball game, the quiet siesta time in front of my tent bird watching the "bush-babies" in our beds at night, being able to be on an adventure like this with my whole family, 3 generations."

D. Black
"The staff at the camps were warm, friendly and fun. Classic camps were lovely and they even gave us family rooms when space available. Thuto and Richard were fabulous! We would travel with them again in Africa and will recommend them to friends. Fun, knowledgeable, good with the kids, safe but adventurous, entertaining. Truly awesome."

S. Stevenson
"The two lodges we stayed at, Toka Leya and Kalahari Plains Camp, were both outstanding! I wish we had more time at both. The settings were beautiful. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend them both to family and friends if planning trips to the area. Frances is a gem!!! Do whatever you can to keep him! He is outstanding in every respect...all of the above. I just can't say enough good things about him. He exceeded my every expectation. He has an amazing knowledge of the area and the animals. He knew something about every single animal we saw. He's a great tracker. He related well with the two youth (boys 11 and 12 years old). Kept them interested and engaged the entire time. This was a great trip...exceeded my expectations!"

M. Kleinbart
"I could not imagine a better guide for this trip. In addition to being a great tracker and communicator, I was thrilled to find out that Lee is also a wonderful photographer. He was incredibly generous in helping me with my camera settings and constantly positioned the vehicle on the perfect position for photographing the wildlife that we saw."

S. Pressman
“Our leader Dave was Great !!! If we ever make it back to Africa - we're going to insist and only travel with Dave as our guide. The kids like him a lot and besides his knowledge - he's a lot of fun - mostly - and we were a rough crowd - every time he would want to get serious and tell us something there would be cross coversation and joking around - we were like a bunch of kids. It was a blast."

R. Sterling
“Each guide was terrific and I felt like we developed a personal connection. This trip was outstanding in every respect and it exceeded my already very high expectations. Thanks so much for a great trip with my entire family!”

C. Kopkowski
“The accommodations were exceptional in comfort and our guide was delightful and bright. We enjoyed most the excellence of our guide plus ample time for long observations of elephant groups and an 8 month-old leopard. We are thoroughly impressed!”

S. Donlon
“We not only saw Africa’s Big Five, we also had several rare sightings of various antelope, birds and interactions between predators/prey. One such interaction included hyenas stealing the prey of a leopard, while 5 male lions crept upon the scene startling the hyenas and causing a frenzy of activity. Even our guides were amazed!!! Our guide made certain that we were all positioned for the best angles for photos, gave us so much information about the animals and locations visited, filled our days with so many amazing experiences, kept in touch with our guides so we didn’t miss a single sighting and kept the grandkids busy learning stories and games played by the local children. The camp staff enjoyed teaching the grandkids local games (which they will share with their friends back home). Superb – what more can I say!!!”

P. Lindner
“This was our first trip anywhere in Africa and we were all in awe. This was a family trip for my 60th birthday and we will never forget this wonderful opportunity to be together in such beautiful surroundings. All of our arrangements were PERFECT.”
