Experience nature and culture in a mystical setting at the heart of Incan legend
Day 1: Juliaca / Titilaka, Peru
Fly to Juliaca where you are greeted by your English-speaking guide and driver and transferred to Titilaka Lodge. Titilaka is located on the Peruvian western shores of the Lake Titicaca, among small hamlets of Quechua and Aymara speakers, and near pre-Columbian and colonial heritage sites. Our drive over the Altiplano takes us directly to the secluded peninsula that is the setting for the lodge.
Your 3-night, 4-day Comprehensive Package begins with lunch on arrival, the first opportunity to sample the fresh, contemporary Peruvian dishes the lodge dining room is noted for, such as cilantro lamb and vegetable soup. This afternoon, consult with the Experience Concierge who will tailor a custom itinerary to your preferences, incorporating activities ranging from contemplative to exhilarating. Excursions range from two-hour outings to half- or full-day excursions subject to weather conditions, schedules, abilities and personal preferences.
Days 2 & 3: Exploring Lake Titicaca & Environs
Two more full days are devoted to a personalized mix of activities designed to provide a captivating experience of the geography, history and culture of the Lake Titicaca region. Included in your Comprehensive Package are sailing excursions on the lake, rowing among the reeds, hikes along the beach or to Titicaca Arch, mountain bike outings, a visit to a local community and archaeological site at Inka Anatawi, birdwatching, and paddling a kayak around Titilaka's private peninsula to observe nature along the shoreline.
A broad slate of optional additional activities (at extra cost) is also available—choose a boat excursion to the famous Uros Floating Islands, a collection of 44 hand-constructed reed islands that is home to local fishermen and basket weavers; explore Taquile Island with its fascinating pre-Incan ruins; hike to the indigenous weavers community of Copamaya; enjoy outstanding birdwatching and cultural interactions on a variety of boat-based outings on the lake; or discover fascinating geological and archaeological sites on overland excursions to Tinajani Canyon and Tihuanaco in Bolivia.
Your package includes all meals, at the lodge and while you are participating in various activities off site. Drinks (except premium labels) are also included during cocktail hour at lunch and dinner at the lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Airport for Homeward Flights
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning of activity before transferring to the Juliaca airport for onward flights. Depending on flight schedules, lunch at the lodge may also be included.

Studies suggest that two-thirds of the world’s polar bear population could be gone by 2050. And if current warming trends continue unabated, WWF scientists and other researchers believe that polar bears may disappear altogether within 100 years. WWF is intent on preventing this from happening.
