Experience the Thrill of Mushing a Sled Dog Team in Bridger-Teton National Forest
Top off your winter trip to Wyoming with an unforgettable dog sledding excursion! This exhilarating ride in a modern sled provides a close-up look at scenic Granite Creek Canyon in Bridger-Teton National Forest. Relive the days of traditional mushing by running the dogs yourself (with supervision and assistance from our experienced guides), or simply sit back and enjoy the ride. Deer, elk, moose, bighorn sheep and bald eagles are often spotted along the way. No special degree of physical fitness is required to participate in this extension.
The dog sled excursion is generally an easy undertaking, and one guest is able to sit while another will stand. Guests should be able to stand on their own behind the sled. Guests also need to be able to steady their own weight if they are in the sitting position, as the dog sled will sway from side to side during turns.
