Our Expedition Leaders

A key part of our commitment to offering the world's best nature journeys is providing the world's best guides—it’s that simple.

At Natural Habitat Expeditions, our Expedition Leaders don't just reveal the natural world in a captivating manner—they also manage every detail of trips into unusual, and often remote and challenging, destinations. They are experts at handling specialized equipment such as kayaks and teaching safety skills; they are adept at managing group dynamics and motivating travelers to tap their inner resources when necessary; they have exceptional experience in the destinations we visit; and, most importantly, they are driven by the same passion for exploring the natural world that draws our guests to these superlative adventures in the first place. Many of our highly trained guides have master’s degrees and PhDs, and while their education plays a role in an enlightening experience for our guests, their true gift is in their leadership ability—helping small groups of enthusiastic travelers co-create the adventures of a lifetime!
