Botswana offers an experience of Africa as it used to be. Far away from tourist crowds, we find the wonders that drew adventurers to thecontinent decades ago. Vast herds of elephants still roam the acacia-studdedsavannah. Antelope, giraffes and buffalo thrive in the wetlands of the OkavangoDelta and at watering holes that sustain life on the dry plains. Lions lazebeneath mopane trees, an icon of a wildness vanishing too quickly in thecontemporary world. Classic tented safari camps offer luxuries reminiscent of anostalgic era in the African bush. It’s all still here, in secluded Botswana.

A very important feature of this African safari is the limited group size as a guided tour is best experienced with a small group of travelers. Our Botswana safari includes an off the beaten path trip to the Zambia side of Victoria Falls. It’s a secluded, adventure travel expedition unlike any other.
Included
Internal charter flights, accommodations, all meals from dinner on Day 1 to lunch on final day, bottled water, house alcohol, services of NHA Expedition Leaders, local guides and lodge staff, airport transfers on Day 1 and final day, laundry, permits and entrance fees, all taxes.
Not Included
Travel to and from start and end point of trip, premium alcoholic beverages, all gratuities, passport and visa fees, optional activities, items of a personal nature (phone calls, souvenirs, etc.), airline baggage fees, airport and departure taxes, optional travel insurance, required medical evacuation insurance.

Our walking activities are usually short and optional. We do, however, recommend that travelers who participate in these programs be of an adventurous spirit, as they will often enjoy the very closest of animal encounters.
Important Information about This Trip
This consummate safari includes Botswana’s best and most remote wildlife locales while staying in higher-end accommodations. Each is small and intimate (usually accommodating only our small group of eight guests) with full electricity and private bathrooms with hot and cold running water. The accommodations are a highlight of the trip following on the amazing wildlife experiences discovered by our Expedition Leaders throughout the day. On these trips changes to the itinerary may occur in order to take advantage of conditions unique to the season and/ or accommodate unexpected changes in water levels; therefore, itineraries may need to be rerouted or redesigned without notice.
Getting There & Getting Home
You must arrive in Livingstone, Zambia by 3pm on Day 1 and depart Maun, Botswana after 1pm on the final day.
