The accommodations chosen for this trip are designed to take us as close as possible to the wildlife and the scenic areas of Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Some are fancier than others but all are clean and comfortable and have private facilities. At Jackson Lake Lodge, enjoy panoramic views of the Grand Tetons rising above a blue mountain lake amid expansive fields where moose, elk and bison roam. In the heart of Yellowstone, find welcome retreat at the Old Faithful Snow Lodge – not far from the famous geyser itself, where heavy timber and log construction lend a classic western feel. Rooms at the rustically charming Alpine Motel are simple but spacious and quite comfortable. In Jackson, we stay at the Lexington at Jackson Hole, a Western-style lodge centrally-located downtown and just across the road from the famed elk refuge.
