S/V Island Roamer is a custom 68-foot motorsailing ketch designed with all the safety, privacy and comfort features that make her ideally suited for intimate exploration of British Columbia's protected coastal waters. The vessel features seven double-occupancy guest cabins, three bathrooms with hot showers, a spacious lounge with extensive library, and a well-equipped galley in which the onboard chef prepares hearty and savory meals. On deck, a large covered seating area provides shelter in any weather. A certified Canadian Ministry of Passenger Transport vessel, Island Roamer has all the safety equipment, electronic navigation aids and features you would expect from a vessel of her standard. She carries two double and three single sea kayaks for intimate coastline and cove exploration, plus two 18-foot motorized Zodiac rafts for easy shore access and eye-level shoreline investigation. On our expedition, although the ship holds 14 guests plus crew, we limit the group size to just 12 travelers. Even so, please sign onto this adventure knowing that space aboard a sailing vessel such as this is very limited, both in the cabins and in common areas.
