Home Accommodations The Cape Grace

The Cape Grace

Location
Cape Town, South Africa

Situated on the West Quay of Cape Town's Victoria and Alfred Waterfront and overlooking the new international yacht basin, the Cape Grace occupies the most coveted position on the Cape. The hotel celebrates the French influence on the history of Cape Town. The Cape Grace provides the perfect link between the 'old city' and the vibrancy of the waterfront. On its own promontory surrounded by water on three sides, all rooms open to views of Table Mountain, the yacht marina or a working harbor. The hotel is a perfect base for leisure travelers and is fully equipped with every modern convenience. Every one of the 92 bedrooms and 12 suites are luxuriously appointed each with a lounge area, walk-in dressing room, and en-suite bathroom, with separate shower and double vanities. Cuisine served in the hotel’s fine restaurant is contemporary and relaxed.

As the Cape Grace is situated in the heart of the Waterfront, leisure activities abound. The Victoria Wharf is replete with market shops, restaurants, cinemas, and a theater, and the hotel is just three minutes from the city center. It is also within easy reach of Cape Town's art galleries, museums, botanical gardens, wine farms and beaches. The staff are warm and flexible with a spirit of unrivalled generosity. It’s no wonder that the Cape Grace with its classically inspired exterior and graceful elegance within is a member of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World.
