Home Accommodations Hotel Pakaritampu

Hotel Pakaritampu

Location
Ollantaytambo, Peru

Hotel Pakaritampu is located in the heart of the Sacred Valley in the village of Ollantaytambo, the starting point of the famed Inca Trail. The name "Pakaritampu" derives from the Quechua language meaning "home of the dawn." Surrounded by lush gardens blooming with poinsettias and other bright flowers, this intimate stucco inn with classic tiled roof feels like an inviting home. Guest rooms are decorated in rich colors inspired by the traditional weavings and attire of the indigenous people of the Andes. Rooms have gleaming wood floors, private bathrooms, complimentary wireless Internet and a safe deposit box. Public areas include a TV room, library and fireplace for gathering round on chilly nights. The restaurant serves a variety of international and New Andean dishes.
