Bryan was born in Frankfurt, Germany and grew up in Richmond, Virginia. Exploring America’s national parks, paddling the James River and family bike tours around the Southeast helped spark his passion for both travel and history. This led him first to earning a history degree from Northwestern University... and now helping make that travel logistics run smoothly with Nat Hab operations.
Bryan competed on the men’s swim team at Northwestern, then moved on to coach swimming in Gisborne, New Zealand after graduation. His relocation half way around the world was a bona fide adventure traveling aboard a freight ship from Philadelphia to Auckland. He spent time exploring the South Pacific during these years, including working on diving and surfing expedition ships in the outer reaches of the Marshall Islands. Personal highlights include seeing the nuclear fleet in Bikini Atoll, surfing in Indonesia and learning more about our oceans during freediving excursions all around the Pacific.
Ultimately Bryan landed in Hawaii, where he was the recreation operations manager at Disney’s Aulani Resort before working his way inland to Colorado. Since landing in the Rockies, Bryan has shifted his focus to the mountain sports: biking, skiing and snowboarding. He has two bulldogs and a poodle who he calls his "best adventure buddy."
