Megan Martin

Meg grew up in the East, escaping the city for the wild places where she felt most at home—places like the Delaware Water Gap and the Appalachian Trail. Her first job was at her local climbing gym, where she gained her passion for rock climbing and geology. During her time at Rutgers University, she earned her bachelor’s degree in environmental policy while accumulating four years and 2,000 hours of guiding experience in climbing, backpacking and sea kayaking.

After college, Meg taught outdoor education in Australia, where she worked in remote places to create connections between youth and the natural world. As an avid traveler, she also spent time in New Zealand and Indonesia. Now, she’s sharing her expertise and passion for the natural world with Nat Hab travelers—and nothing makes her happier than being part of the moments when people’s lives are visibly touched by experiences in wild places. She has witnessed that these are the relationships we form while exploring, bringing us back to the roots of basic human connection and the world around us. Meg lives in Colorado.
