Alaska's Inside Passage Wildlife Explorer
Last August, I was fortunate enough to spend an entire week cruising Alaska’s famed “Inside Passage” aboard the Safari Quest. This was my first visit to the incredible state of Alaska, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Alaska is truly an incredible destination for awe-inspiring landscapes and abundant wildlife.

During the course of the week, we sailed north from Ketchikan to Juneau, stopping along the way at Anan Creek Bear Observatory, Frederick Sound, the ABC Islands (Admiralty, Baranof and Chichagof) and Glacier Bay National Park. I had heard incredible travel stories from fellow travelers that had ventured this far north in the past, but seeing Alaska with my own eyes was a dream come true!

For many travelers, Alaska is a destination they return to time and time again. I certainly have a return trip to Alaska on my travel list!

Here are some of my favorite images from my stunning week as a group member on Alaska’s Inside Passage Wildlife Explorer.
