But researchers tell us that people also make their own luck, and Natural Habitat had thought through everything so well.Zapa was amazing! I've been on a number of tours and never encountered a finer tour leader. He was courteous, funny, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and always attentive. Moreover, he always seemed to know intuitively what everyone needed and was always one step ahead of us in making sure that every need was attended to. If we needed a hand going over the rocks, he was there. If we needed help with photography, he was there. He's a real gem. Our two local guides at Eco Camp were amazing, too. They were adorable, friendly, helpful and wonderful guides. They spotted two pumas. TWO!!"

"I would absolutely do another trip with Natural Habitat. Every day was full ofwell planned activities and surprises. Thought there'd be a bit more hiking, but that was okay because we loved seeing and learning about all the plants, fauna and geology, so it was a nice balance overall. I can't say enough about Zapa - he was superb; always exceptionally thoughtful, very knowledgable about flora/fauna/geology/photography, funny, and very charismatic. He made the trip one of the most fantastic trips we've been on. We absolutely loved it, and a lot of that was due to Zapa's efforts!"
