Location of Adventure
Southern Utah and Northern Arizona
Group Size Limit
Approximately 12 Travelers
An important feature of our Southwest photo adventure is the limited group size, since nature photography is best experienced in  the quieter setting of a small group. You'll also be assured plenty of personal attention from our photo tour Expedition Leader.
Our Specialized 4x4 Land Rovers and Land Cruisers
Our Private Leaders
Included
Accommodations, meals from dinner on Day 1 through breakfast on final day, purified drinking water, services of NHA Expedition Leader (specific leaders subject to change), airport transfers on Day 1 and final day, optional mule ride, most gratuities, all permits, entrance fees and taxes.
Not Included
Travel to and from start and end point of trip, alcoholic beverages, some gratuities, passport and visa fees, optional activities, items of a personal nature (phone calls, laundry, etc.), airline baggage fees, airport and departure taxes, optional travel insurance.
Physical Requirements
Easy to Moderate
This adventure does not require a high degree of physical fitness. However, in order to participate, travelers should be able to walk at least two miles unassisted over uneven terrain and inclines, with some altitude gain, and at altitudes of up to 9,115 feet above sea level. There is an optional mule ride available for participants weighing less than 200 pounds. Most of the trip takes place in an arid desert environment, and the sun can be intense at times. Our days generally start quite early and are very full with activities, including a few long drives. While travelers are not required to participate in all activities, should you opt out of the day’s scheduled activities, we cannot always guarantee that alternatives will be available.
Important Information About This Trip
On this adventure, we’ll see a side of the American Southwest that most casual tourists miss. The main goal of our experienced Expedition Leaders is to get our travelers to less-visited areas away from crowds in order to experience the wildlife and natural grandeur of the canyon lands in the most remote and secluded manner possible. Specific dates cannot be booked with the National Parks until August (for the following year). Trip dates listed are likely to change slightly and will be confirmed at that time. Depending upon availability, itineraries may run in a different order
Mandatory Insurance
Getting There & Getting Home
