Paul Brown
Paul, an avid birdwatcher since childhood, received his bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Ramapo College of New Jersey. During his education Paul assisted with hawk migration census studies with New Jersey Audubon and coordinated the count on the Montclair Hawk Lookout. Paul has also participated in Northern Goshawk nests surveys and done fisheries work on the Ashley National Forest in Utah. Since Paul relocated to the Greater Yellowstone region, he has been leading environmental education programs through the Teton Science School for groups of all ages. One of Paul’s passions is the wolves of Yellowstone's Lamar Valley, and he has spent years working toward assuring their protection. Paul is an accomplished photographer and enjoys helping guests capture amazing images of Yellowstone's wolves, bison, bears and other wildlife, not to mention the arresting scenery of the region.

"Paul was the consummate guide. Incredibly knowledgeable, always answered questions fully and offered up huge amounts of information on all subjects. He showed incredible patience and couldn't have tried harder to find us a pack of wolves. Paul really made the trip special."
P. Bharvaney
"I have never had a better guide. Paul was mature, attentive and knowledgeable. He was on top of everything and leaded the group effortlessly. I will definitely travel with him again."
F. Nauman
"There are not enough superlatives to describe Paul. He is intuitive about where to find the animals, and completely knowledgable about them. We're hoping to take the Yellowstone Wolf expedition with him at some later time. And he took excellent care of all of us in his group."

"This was our 6th trip with Nat Hab. Each trip has had excellent guides. Paul Brown, our guide on this trip, is possibly the BEST guide we've had. That's saying a lot, considering our previous guides. Paul has exceptional knowledge of the wolves, their history, their lineage, their actions, etc. His passion for these animals shows. Additionally, he knows so much about the park, the other animals, the environment, and the BIRDS. He was great with the guests and communicated with and listened to each of us."
D. Sarosdy
"I CANNOT sing Paul Brown’s praises high enough. That guy is a true representative of what an Expedition Leader should aspire to…sense of humor, incredible depth to his knowledge, patience to the nth degree, and the epitome of responsibility. Without a doubt, the consensus of our group was that Paul MADE this trip! I mean all of this with the utmost sincerity."
