Physical Requirements
Easy to Difficult / Flexible
These trips generally do not require a high degree of physical fitness, although a number of short walks may be involved. Because this is a trip designed to meet your needs and interests, we can develop an itinerary based on your physical abilities to the extent possible. Travelers should be aware that the heat and humidity may be very high and roads may be bumpy.
Important Information
Our Custom Costa Rica trip provides an opportunity for you to design a Costa Rica adventure that suits your interests, time constraints and budgetary requirements. While we have provided several suggested itineraries, one of our Adventure Specialists will be happy to help you design something different, if you prefer. Prices are per person based on double occupancy. A peak-season surcharge may apply from Dec. 20, 2012, to Jan. 5, 2013, and Mar. 16 - 23, 2013. A green season discount may apply from May 1 to Oct. 31, 2013. Reductions may be available for large parties. Parties of fewer than three travelers will be led by a driver/guide rather than a driver and an NHA Expedition Leader, though we recommend adding an Expedition Leader for small parties at a surcharge.
