Ecuadorian-born Ceci spent 15 years living in Toronto, Canada, where she obtained her bachelor's degree in business administration. After attending training programs with the Galapagos National Park Service and Charles Darwin Research Station, she obtained her license as a naturalist guide, which allowed her to pursue her passion, which is sharing with visitors the special, unique and magical place that is the Galapagos. After a few years' hiatus to stay home with her two young children, Ceci came back to the Galapagos in 2008 to work in the place she loves the most. Her favorite activity to share with guests is snorkeling, and she is a certified scuba diver as well. She also has a special interest in reptiles. “If you love wildlife, people
and photography, this is the ideal job," Ceci says. "I feel blessed and honored to work in one of the most pristine places on Earth.”
