Amazon Clipper Extension
For the ultimate experience of Brazil, add this 2-night cruise up the legendary Amazon River. The greatest river on earth, the Amazon carries 1/5 of all fresh water on earth as it flows more than 4,000 miles from its headwaters in the Andes to the Atlantic. Our deluxe riverboat takes us into the heart of the world’s largest rainforest, a World Heritage Site unparalleled in size, beauty and biodiversity. Via morning and nighttime excursions by canoe and on foot, we encounter the wonders of the jungle at intimate range, looking for monkeys, sloths and parrots above, pink river dolphins and giant water lilies below.

This extension offers a chance to cruise the mighty Amazon River, replete with some of the most diverse plant and animal life on earth. The three-day extension departs on Monday and concludes on Wednesday, lining up with the start of our Brazil: Pantanal, Iguacu & Beyond trip (though flight schedules between Manaus and Rio will not allow arrival in time for our welcome dinner). Getting There & Getting Home
Please arrive in Manaus, Brazil no later than 12:00 PM on Day 1 as we will transfer from the Tropical Hotel to the Amazon Clipper Premium at 2:00 PM. Passengers are free to depart Manaus after 1:30 PM on the final day. We can best serve you if Natural Habitat Adventures’ Travel Desk makes these reservations for you, as we are intimately familiar with the special requirements of these programs and can arrange the most efficient and cost-effective transportation.
