There is no doubt that the emperor penguin is one of the most difficult birds on the planet to reach. It is also the one of the most impressive! Join us on this specially designed eco tourism expedition to the newly discovered emperor penguin rookery at Snow Hill, within a short cruising distance of the Antarctic Peninsula. This penguin viewing trip aboard an icebreaking vessel is specifically designed to explore this region and allow small groups of travelers to walk among Snow Hill emperor penguins in their natural habitat.

Physical Requirements
Easy / Moderate
This penguin viewing trip does not require an enormously high degree of physical fitness. We will have to walk to the rookeries from our landing area which may require traveling a few miles over uneven terrain.

If a traveler books a trip based on NHA finding a roommate and we are unable to do so, the single supplement fee will not apply in Standard cabins, but will apply in Suites at twice the Suite booking rate to guarantee single occupancy.
Prices are per person based on double occupancy and are given in US Dollars. Fees may increase for 2011. Payment, cancellation and refund policies for Expedition Cruises vary according to the departure and ship chosen. Please call our office for details on specific voyages. At times, expedition cruise companies impose fuel surcharges prior to departures. Please book these trips knowing that may occur.
