Yosemite & the California Coast
Discover northern California's dramatic landscapes, unique wildlife and ancient Sequoias!
California has always held a certain mystique – for the Spaniards, the gold seekers and more modern pilgrims awed by its natural wonders. This adventure bisects the Golden State, traversing California’s most gorgeous and diverse landscapes. At Point Reyes, dense coastal forests give way to bluffs and beaches, where elk roam and seals loll on the sand. Heading east, we reach the unsurpassed mountainscape of Yosemite. Naturalist John Muir, founder of the Sierra Club, said, “The park is a paradise that makes even the loss of Eden seem insignificant.” Big, bold, wild California: It’s a definite sort of heaven.
