The Great African River Safari
Spectacular numbers of wild animals still roam freely across the immense and largely unchanged landscapes of Botswana and Namibia, and you’ll encounter them in intimate proximity on our Great African River Safari, showcased in our upcoming webinar. Aboard a deluxe houseboat, we cruise the Chobe River, a vast waterway and wildlife mecca where hippos and crocodiles reveal themselves to observant adventurers. A sunset skiff excursion places you in the midst of antelope, elephants and buffalo that meander past. After our river journey, we add a land-based safari where you’ll watch in wonder as herds of game, as well as predators such as lion, wild dog, make regular appearances as we explore Botswana’s premier private game reserves on foot, by canoe and by vehicle. Join host Dave Luck, a Natural Habitat “Hall of Fame” Expedition Leader and one of Africa’s most respected safari guides, for this virtual exploration of some of Africa’s most exceptional wilderness. Drawing on knowledge gained while growing up in Botswana and his extensive safari guiding experience, Dave will highlight the most unforgettable aspects of this grand adventure through the heart of southern Africa.
