All gratuities; accommodations in the hotel and on board the Caledonian Sky as outlined in the itinerary; all onboard meals and group meals ashore, including soft drinks, beer and wine with lunch and dinner; arrival and departure transfers on group dates; services of the expedition staff including lectures, briefings, slide/film shows; all group activities and excursions; landing and port fees; and $50,000 of medical expense coverage and $75,000 in emergency evacuation insurance.
All air transportation; excess baggage charges; airport arrival and departure taxes; transfers for independent arrivals and departures; travel insurance; passport and/or visa fees; items of a personal nature such as laundry, bar charges, alcoholic beverages except as listed, email/Internet/fax/telephone charges.
For most activities a moderate level of exertion is required. You will need to climb into and out of Zodiacs and tenders for diving and snorkeling activities and excursions ashore. Ashore, you must be able to walk moderate distances over beaches and sometimes rough terrain.
Important Information About This Trip
Average daily temperatures will range from the low to upper 80s°F, though high humidity can make it feel warmer, with cooler temperatures in the Pitcairns and Easter Island. Though this voyage occurs during the dry season, rainfall is always a possibility.
Getting There & Getting Home
You will need to fly from your home to Papeete, Tahiti, arriving on November 5, and then depart from Easter Island to Santiago, Chile on November 23, arriving home on the 24th.
